Oman Aluminium Processing industries (OAPIL) an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & ISO18001:2007 accredited organisation, recently celebrated a new safety and health milestone of four years without a lost-time injury (LTI) which is 48 straight months without an accident on site resulting in injury-related absence.

More than 100 employees were treated with a special dinner at Crowne plaza – Sohar. The dinner recognise and reinforce effort in keeping in each other safe in and around the OAPIL site. Board and management members attended the event and participated in welcoming people.

OAPIL Chief Executive Officer Fredric Rouyer says” This remarkable achievement at OAPIL highlights the success of its culture of ‘Zero harm’ which is the main pillar and the highest priority of the company and its achievement that makes all of us proud.

“OAPIL team has worked incredibly hard to maintain its daily focus on safety first and go through 1460 day without lost-time injury.

Through continued hard work and constant vigilance on safety in all aspect of our operations, we have managed to maintain our safety performance and achieve this record. All OAPIL employees deserve great credit for this significant achievement.
